Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. Once I got the router to connect with my DSL modem, surfing has been great. I'm running a Mac, and even following the excellent instructions Linksys provides on their web page, I spent about 2 hours in trial-and-error mode trying to make a connection.Security is excellent on this model, range is acceptable, and it's pretty fast.
G is plenty fast for my needs. Great piece of gear. Decided to go with G broadband till N is proven technology. Setup was straight forward. Would highly recommended this router to a friend. Had it up and running in about 30 minutes, handshaking between my desktop, notebook and printer. Helps to be knowledgeable about addressing home networking functions. Notebook retained good reception and speed even at far end of house, nearly 80 ft away.
Would recommend to anyone. Excellent product, works great. Did have some problem installing, but called their Technical support and they walked me right through it.
It might prove easier to connect to with a Windows product. Great product once I got it hooked up. It required a call to the service center to connect to my i-Mac.
I would recommend this for it's easy to use setup and price. I purchased Linksys Wireless Router to work with my two PC's and XBox 360. And results are exactly what I expected from Linksys.
